These pages are under development and will hold information about our interest, hobbies, pets, and family.  Each section is dedicated to a particular aspect of our lives.  Although you may find some family information here from time to time, these pages are not intended to be a repertory of Genealogy information.  Thanks for viewing our ramblings and have a great day.

What Type Face are you?

We all read every day, sometimes for entertainment, sometimes for fun, sometimes out of necessity.

Some type faces are unique to brand names and we hardly recognize the brand without the correct type face. Take Coke-Cola as an example.  What we are talking about here it typography which is the art of conveying a message visually as well as actually telling the reader something with words.

The history of typefaces is reviewed and argued in a program on Independent Lens as seen on PBS. Typography is an art that originated in printing and has evolved into a design element for all the visual communication forms from the printed page to the internet.

Today we see people branding their Face Book, My Space and Twitter areas with the typeface (font) that best expresses their mood.
